		<description>I used my handy new Japanese verticle spiral slicer courtesy of Phil, to get those long lovely noodles of carrot.  
Those pairings would be great. Add in a nice sauvignon blanc and you&#039;ve got it made.

		<description>Hmmm... I&#039;m rather dubious about fennel too but I&#039;m willing to give this a shot-- I can imagine the lemon juice and sweet carrot taming the powerful anise.  I&#039;m thinking of having it with salmon or some smoked mackerel.  What do you think?  And how does a charlatan like me get those curly strips of carrot?</description>
