Welcome To The Endive Chronicles

Published by admin at 8:51 am under The Land Of Misfit Posts

Celebrate!

For a few years now, I have been an avid reader of food blogs such as Chocolate and Zucchini and Chez Pim. The effortless writing and wonderful recipes of these women have inspired me. Therefore, today after months of hemming and hawing, I have finally started my own food blog.

It seems like it should be so easy; writing a food blog. Just knock out a few recipes, check out a few fabulous restaurants and Bob’s your uncle. But in reality, you are putting a piece of yourself out there in the world, which can be a very scary prospect. When the writing and recipes are your own, you find out that things are not always as simple as they seem. You find yourself staring at your notepad or computer worrying what others will think. Then thankfully, the realization comes that the person you should be writing for is yourself and the words begin to flow.

I am dedicating this site to the study and relentless pursuit of flavor and experience. So welcome to my little corner of the world. I hope you are hungry.

    Hi Erin,
Was so happy to be included in receiving your blog site. I will look forwarding to following it. What a fun thing to do and a challenge and time consuming?

Finally got together with you mother and father a few months ago. God, I can’t believe that it has been that long already. We are in Mexico and returning home Thursday, so hoping to see her over the holidays.

What is happening in your life?

For all who are reading this, Erin is a fabulous chef. It’s probably a good thing that we live on opposite sides of the country, otherwise I would be as big as a house!!!!

    Dear Erin,
I’m a friend of your folks. We were in Ireland together, and each time they come to Bellingham I have the fun of seeing them usually at Helen and Dan Dorns. I’ve been unable to find your recipes which I’d really like to see. When I was asked for my user name, I type in Eve Pryce and was rejected. I’ll look forward to hearing from you…Eve

Awesome. Now all I have to do is actually try out some of the recipes. I always use the excuse that I don’t have time. What kind of B.S. is that? Obviously I eat right? So, I must have time to cook. I promise to actually try some recipes this time.
